I have not had much of a feel for them, but I hope to use them more in future projects.Tiny Shop Woodworkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10375332433853904113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1321553715454450871.post-3863062244155552282016-09-21T11:02:48.588-07:002016-09-21T11:02:48.588-07:00That moulding looks really amazing.

A band saw might dovetail nicely in a hand tool shop, but I'd need to use a shoehorn to get it in the current shop. my power tools have been in storage for 3.5 years and the rent has increased 50% in that time, so I'd love to downsize and get rid of some stuff. Maybe now's the time. AND it dovetails very well into a hand tool shop, since it is used for roughing out shape, slicing small logs for the wood etc. Very handy and safe.
Get a good clone or an original older Delta 14 in bandsaw, If you outgrew it, then you NEED a bigger shop :-)

Bob with his sidekick Rudy Valley Woodworkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07322487171914484954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1321553715454450871.post-26151341307125907812016-09-20T14:45:14.903-07:002016-09-20T14:45:14.903-07:00With current shop space and the completely out-of-...With current shop space and the completely out-of-whack real estate prices here keeping me in my current home, it looks like I'll have to keep to hand tools until my wife retires and we can move elsewhere. Probably another 8 years or so. But I dream of a time when I have a power tool area to get stock to rough sizes. I could probably do most of that on a bandsaw, but I don't have one. I've got a small table saw, a jointer (that I could never tune up properly) and a planer. Maybe eventually I'll trade those three in for a band saw.Tiny Shop Woodworkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10375332433853904113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1321553715454450871.post-85725971237967127712016-09-20T14:35:48.774-07:002016-09-20T14:35:48.774-07:00I recall you saying your power tools were in stora...I recall you saying your power tools were in storage. Are you ever going to get them and use or stay hand tool only?
I think I'll get rid of my tablesaw next year and that will free up a lot of real estate in the shop.Ralph Boumenothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10606484453109932074noreply@blogger.com
